Alerts - Display and options

Alerts are displayed in a list according to the latest notification. The latest alert notice is usually the first on the list or at the top of the list.

PDN provides near real-time alerts about disasters in the Pacific Region from the following sources:

• GDACS - Global Disaster Alert and Coordination System
  
• Relief web
  
• AlertNet
  
• TSR - Tropical Storm Risk
  
• APCEDI – Australian-Pacific Centre for Emergency and Disaster Information (Asia-Pacific Disaster Alerts)
  
• RSMC Nadi (Fiji) - Regional Specialized Meteorological Centre
  
• PTWC – Pacific Tsunami Warning Center
  

If you click an entry in the list the Alert information will be displayed.

Alerts - Button – 'Export As PDF'

If you click the button ‘Export As PDF’ the Alert information will be displayed in PDF format and providing all functionalities for this format like Print, Save, Navigation, Search etc.

Alerts - Button – 'View All'

If you click the button ‘View All’ in the bottom of the Alerts tab you get a listing of records displayed which you can narrow by Filter.

You can sort and rearrange the information in the listing for your preferred and better overview.

Click with the left mouse in a column header to sort the entries ascending or descending and the results will be rearranged.

At the end of the list you will see the number of results (Alerts) currently displayed and the total number of Alerts. You can scroll in this list and turn pages to see all Alerts.

Alerts - Filter

You can filter relevant Alerts by Field (from the general information) and relating Value.

Please click on the tiny arrow at the right end of the field and select from the drop down menu as you can see below.

To select the relating Value (from the field entry) - please click on the tiny arrow at the right end of the field and select from the drop down menu as you can see below.

If you click on the ‘Filter’ button a new listing will be displayed with your selected Alerts.

You can sort and rearrange the information in the listing for your preferred and better overview. For more information about changing the initial order of the listing please see under Sort.
