Pre-Session Event (PE 10)
Title: Orientation Meeting for Members of the Pacific Delegation attending the Global Platform (GP)
Objectives:
- To give an overview of the Global Platform programme and main processes;
- To provide an opportunity to members of the Delegation get to know each other;
- To select important sessions and events at which the Pacific should participate in and assign roles to delegation members;
- To finalize the programme for the Pacific Market Place and who will be present at the booth;
- To share paper on key messages from the Pacific to the GP;
- To identify any urgent outstanding issues regarding the GP, such as logistics, official statements, country presentations etc.;
- To agree on time and place for regular meetings of the delegation
Expected number of participants: 40 - 50 participants
Expected duration: 3 hrs
