2nd Session of the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction

Marketplace - Further information

We like to exhibit relevant DRM material from our region in the Pacific booth in the Marketplace during the Global Platform in Geneva (16 - 29 June 2009).
 
The exhibition will present a broad spectrum of disaster risk management initiatives currently undertaken in the Pacific region. The broad coverage of the exhibit will include: Regional and national DRM strategies, DRM tools and guidelines, DRM awareness material and information brochures, and the Pacific Disaster Net.

Please contact us (E-mail: jutta@sopac.org) if you like to display your material relating to
-    Regional and national DRM strategies and action plans;
-    DRM awareness materials,information brochures, tools and guidelines etc ;
-    Technical and scientific reports;
-    Posters and film spots or video clips ;

Since we have not much time left and given the limited space in the booth (3x2m) we appreciate your feedback and details of products, materials and reports that you would like to exhibit at the Marketplace . Please respond by Thursday, 4th June.

With Pacific Disaster Net being presented during the Global Platform as well - we can upload and display all your information anyway - including your reports, awareness material, videos etc. - if you send them to us soon !

In terms of the Pacific booth at the Marketplace we are also considering a small display of Pacific artefacts/handicraft . If you wish to display a few small pieces please do bring them along. Note though that there isn't much space for the displays and so just bring 1 or 2 small pieces (that can be accommodated in your airline luggage allowance) .
