$1m FSC damage bill [TC Mick]

Cyclone evacuation centres close [TC Mick]

Ministries on disease alert [TC Mick]

Fiji Tropical Cyclone Mick, the Fiji Times, Tuesday December 22nd, 2009. The Ministry of Health is keeping a close watch on the outbreak of diseases after the flooding brought by Cyclone Mick. Deputy Secretary of Public Health, Dr Joe Koroivueta, said there was a possibility of disease outbreaks such as typhoid, dengue fever, diarrhoea and leptospirosis

Help sought for relief shelters [TC Mick]

Fiji Tropical Cyclone Mick, the Fiji Times Monday January 04, 2010. The Australian government will be approached for help over a shortfall in tarpaulins for temporary shelters following Cyclone Mick. This as a report from the National Disaster Management Office saw 735 tarpaulin requests. 570 for the Western and 165 for the Central Division
