Updates and notes about PDN
2010/02 - Firefox 3.6 fixes
PDN displays get adjusted to the new version of the Firefox browser (3.6).
2009/12 - PDN Alternate Wiki on Google Application Engine
Due to power outages during natural disasters (eg: Tropical Cyclones, Earthquakes etc) in the Pacific, Pacific Disaster Net has an alternate emergency repository located in the Google cloud, which ensures alerts and disaster-related information are available, regardless of ICT infrastructure status in the region.
http://pdn.appspot.com/ will be activated in case of unexpected downtime of PDN.

- Google maps / Google earth integration
- - with different displays – Hybrid, Map, Terrain, Satellite, Earth (whereas Earth needs the Google Earth Plugin to be installed)
