What is ADRC?
Asian Disaster Reduction Center
‐ established in 1998 in Kobe, Hyogo prefecture, Japan,
with 22 member countries in Asia
‐our objectives
1) to enhance disaster resilience of member countries
2) to build safe communities
3) to create a society where sustainable development
is possible
‐ 28 member countries and 5 observer organizations
and 5 observer organizations
